David Soliman (Managing Partner, Private Wealth Advisor) has worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years. Prior to Faubourg, he worked as private client advisor and personal banker for J. P. Morgan Chase & Co for nearly 10 years. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and studied at Tulane University. David lives in Broadmoor with his wife, Michelle, along with his daughters Margot and Penelope, and Cocker Spaniel, Pierre. David is an active volunteer with Alpha Kappa Psi, the world’s oldest and largest professional business fraternity and has served as a Regional Director for most of the Gulf South. He mentors and advises future business leaders at the college level with a focus on strategic and operational management, leadership, and risk management. David is also a member of the Loyola Young Alumni Board, the Association of Employee Benefit Planners of New Orleans, and the Louisiana Society of Association Executives. In 2018, he was honored by New Orleans CityBusiness as of of the city's Money Makers in investments, an honor that recognizes local professionals for financial achievements in their respective industries and their community impact.

A word from David:

“What I love most about being a financial advisor? Every time I help a client, it means I am helping them work towards buying a house, sending a child to college, having a comfortable, secure retirement, or fulfilling whatever dream they have for their family or business. I know our clients have sophisticated financial planning and investment needs that can’t be met with a one-size-fits-all product package mass marketed by many current banking and investment firms. As an independent advisor, I have the freedom to offer personal, customized service, unencumbered by restrictions or conflicts of interest.

Perhaps second only to physical health, financial health is one of the biggest concerns people have today. In my years of experience working as an advisor, I’ve learned that typically the more control, information, and understanding a person has of their financial wellbeing, the more they trust their financial advisor and the less stressful the entire process is. My job is to listen, strategize, and help clients create a plan of action designed to keep them on the path toward pursuing their financial goals.”

The Certified Plan Fiduciary Adviser (CPFA) credential demonstrates an advisor’s knowledge, expertise and commitment to working with retirement plans. CPFA plan advisors have the expertise required to act as a plan fiduciary or help plan fiduciaries manage their roles and responsibilities.
