Matthew is a lifelong Louisianan, LaPlace native, and graduate of Brother Martin High School. With a degree in finance from Louisiana State University, he passed the CFP® Exam and is a Candidate for CFP® Certification - a demonstration of his commitment to personal excellence and dedication to his craft.  At Faubourg, Matthew serves individual clients and their families as a licensed financial advisor in addition to playing a vital role on the firm's operations team.

With a constant desire for growth in both his personal and professional life, Matthew spends much of his time at the gym or outdoors pursuing physical fitness, triathlons in particular. He also enjoys reading books on finance and other small business and entrepreneurship topics as well as searching for personal investment opportunities within local real estate markets. When he is not chasing his own personal development, he commits his time to bettering the local community by leading a group of young adults in a homeless outreach ministry, Feed the Streets, through St. Catherine of Sienna Parish in Metairie, and serving as Director of Finance for the New Orleans Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals.
