Timothy is a Private Wealth Advisor with Faubourg. He was drawn to the financial industry because of his desire to build long-lasting relationships with clients and the sense of accomplishment that comes with helping others build financial freedom in retirement. Tim understands that risk management is what enables clients to invest and stay invested even through volatile market periods that are inevitable throughout a long-term investor’s lifetime. A financial plan is the foundation for him and his team to get an understanding of how much risk is necessary for a client to accomplish their ongoing financial goals. While the financial industry is always evolving, he believes it’s imperative to stick to the rules that have been true and will remain true and have helped generations of investors achieve financial success.
Tim graduated from Spring Hill College in 2002 with his bachelor’s degree in business marketing. While in school, he played on the golf team and served in several leadership roles in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Originally from Columbus, GA, Tim moved to New Orleans shortly after Hurricane Katrina in November of 2005. He worked as a loan officer specializing in refinancing until he made his shift to becoming a Financial Advisor in 2008. He started his career with Wells Fargo Advisors during the financial crisis, moved to JP Morgan Chase for over five years, and then made the decision to begin his independent practice within Faubourg Private Wealth in 2015. Tim has all the support from his wife of 12 years, Jessica “Tootie” Aubin, while they raise their three children, twin boys Louis and Oliver, and their youngest son Benjamin. When he’s not in the office, you can find him spending time with his wife, their boys, and extended family, as well as hanging out with the friends they are very fortunate to have here in New Orleans. He also enjoys vacationing at the beach, cooking, and playing a round of golf — when time permits
A word from Timothy:
“There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to investing and planning for my clients. Nobody’s financial life is the same, so it is imperative that my team and I build a plan that is customized to each individual client and their family’s circumstances, so they are well positioned to pursue their financial goals and have financial independence.”
