Mamie Favor knows firsthand that a financial road map greatly enhances emotional, psychological, and financial stability in families. She knows this because she was raised by a single mother working several jobs and saw firsthand the struggles associated with financial instability.
As a private wealth advisor and a certified financial planner, Mamie is educated to provide dependable fiduciary advice in estate planning, tax planning, wealth accumulation, retirement plans (401ks), disability and life insurance planning, executive benefits, employee retention plans, and numerous other areas of financial planning. She can provide valuable information to her clients pursuing their financial future.
Her clients include small business owners, professionals, families, and high-income and high-net-worth individuals. Her clients receive honest, holistic, organized plans designed to provide financial confidence, savings, and growth for themselves and future generations. Mamie’s clients live in California, Colorado, Louisiana, Texas and Georgia, and Europe.
True to her nature as a go-getter, after earning a bachelor’s degree from American University, Mamie started law school at Tulane University at age 20, graduated at 23, and was trying cases a week after graduating. After practicing law for 10 years, Mamie’s life changed dramatically when she got married and decided it was time to move on to a new career. Mamie had worked with a financial advisor on her own planning, and the career appealed to her because she enjoyed meeting new people, studying their situations, and providing solutions to their financial challenges along with plans to help them pursue a secure financial future. “Financial planners are happier than litigators,” she says with a laugh.
Mamie’s achievements in the financial services industry include membership in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, where she was Member of the Year in 2002, and The Society of Financial Service Professionals. She’s active in her local community as a supporter of the Women’s New Life Center, the Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans, Jesuit School, St. Andrews Episcopal School. She is also a religion teacher at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in New Orleans. Outside of work and serving the community, Mamie loves spending time at home with her husband Ricky and children Springer and Grace. She enjoys traveling, gardening, tennis, running, and swimming. Both at home and on the job, her top priority is always guiding those around her toward a secure financial future.
